The Somalia Cultural Association (SCA) is a Melbourne based social group whose chief objective is to inform the Somali communities in Australia about the issues concerning to them and organize functions and meetings to clarify complex goernment agendas. Also to inform about the political and social developments in Somalia and to provide a discussion forum to develop ways to resolve the major issues facing us and help us move forward.
We believe that it is through exchange of ideas and by focusing on what unites us rather than our differences that will get us develop into a functioning society. We encourage the pursuit of knowledge, entrepreneurship, respect for human rights and the search for excellence in all our endeavours. The Somali Cultural Association is a source of information for those who are interested in Somali history.
